The cottage has maintained its 4 star rating with Visit Wales since opening its doors five years ago and has regularly received 5 star reviews on Trip Advisor and has consistently retained Airbnb "Superhost" status over the past three years. We have recently been awarded the "Certificate of Excellence" by Trip Advisor.
The bathroom is en-suite and has a thermostatically controlled shower over the bath. All heating is electric and is included, together with hot water. Bed linen (cotton naturally) and towels are all provided.
The property was completed in October 2013, so all the equipment and the bed are reasonably new and a new TV was installed in January 2015.
Maps, guides and books are provided to help guests choose walks and places to visit. If recommendations are needed for places to eat or drink or suggestions on local walks and places to visit, Sue or Nick can usually be found nearby at "Newhouse" and would be very pleased to help.
In the summer, a barbecue is available for the use of guests.

We can provide lock-up storage for bicycles (at owner’s risk) and bike washing facilities are available on request.
There are lots of local walks to choose from, as well as more serious treks on the Beacons and the Black Mountains.
